Does your research impact sports?
Sport ranges from elite activities on a global level in world championships and Olympic Games to exercise and wellbeing for all members of society. KTH is collaborating with both the Swedish Sports Confederation and the Swedish Olympic Committee around sports in research and education.
KTH is now planning for the inauguration of the newly established Center for Sports Engineering. The mission of the center is to match all forms of sports with world-leading research at KTH in the engineering sciences. The aim is to improve training, design better equipment and infrastructures, increase participation, and facilitate sustainable and attractive events.
Researchers are now invited to contribute to the event with engaging posters, demos or other activities that show how research may contribute to improving sports. Welcome to submit your proposal through this web form.
The event takes place on June 13 from 14.00 to 18.00 at KTH Innovation, Teknikringen 1. Poster walls and other simple infrastructure can be provided.
Looking forward to your contributions! Proposals will be reviewed continuously until Friday, May 19, when the form is closed.
