Administration, curling, gym and running keeps Fabian busy…

Meet Fabian Wingfors, Administrative Officer, at Digital Futures.

Hi Fabian, describe your role at Digital Futures?

– As Administrative Officer I am working with a variety of tasks around events, economy, project calls, faculty and administrations.

Digital Futures has been growing rapidly over the last couple of months, both in terms of new projects and the number of people being engaged? Busy times indeed. Now it is time for a well-deserved summer break – what do you look forward to coming back after your vacation?

– We have a lot to look forward to but especially our conference Digitalize in Stockholm on October 20-21, with several great keynote speakers, interesting panels arranged by our partners and a number of really cool projects that will be presented.

It has been a rather unusual year – how did this impact your work at Digital Futures?

– I started to work here in February so I don’t know anything else than how Digital Futures works in a pandemic but am looking forward to learn how Digital Futures under more “normal conditions”.

Finally, tell us a little bit about yourself! What do you do when you’re not engaging in the activities at Digital Futures?

– A lot of my time outside work is used for training, mainly curling, being at the gym and running. When it´s not summer, I often use the weekends to travel around competing in curling tournaments.
