SEC scholar 25 June – 24 August 2026
Yunho Oh is an Associate Professor at Korea University, specializing in computer architecture and system software. His research focuses on designing computing systems that execute data-intensive algorithms efficiently across heterogeneous hardware environments. In particular, he investigates how foundational algorithms, including K-means clustering, recommendation systems, and AI-driven decision support, can be accelerated through dynamic task distribution, precision scaling, and adaptive memory systems.
During his visit, Yunho Oh plans to conduct collaborative research within the Digital Futures environment, with a focus on high-performance data analytics for digitalized industry. In particular, he aims to explore how computing systems research can support large-scale simulations, AI-enabled digital twins, and real-time decision support for production and logistics systems.
He also plans to participate in seminars, workshops, and community events, exchange ideas with PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, and explore opportunities for future research collaboration with the Digital Futures community and its industrial partners.
