The EU-Talent Centre is organizing a two-day online workshop titled “Prepare to Lead! Leadership Training for a Successful Academic Career”, which will take place on March 19-20, 2026. Please find further details below and in the flyer.

The mission of the EU-Talent Centre is to empower young generations of researchers and professionals in Digital Science and Tech to envision and establish a progressive environment where scientific excellence and technological innovation can thrive. The Centre is a joint initiative from NCCR Automation in Switzerland, Digital Futures in Stockholm, and the Einstein Centre Digital Future in Berlin.

Speakers include Prof. Karl Henrik Johansson (KTH & Digital Futures), Prof. Gioele Zardini(MIT), and Dr. Elise Cahard (NCCR & ETH).

The objectives of the workshop include:
- Identifying best practices that contribute to inclusive and equitable research and work environments; and
- Identifying strategies to ensure that diversity and research excellence can thrive in STEM fields.
Agenda:
- The first day of the workshop will feature three invited speakers who will share their experiences and best practices for future academic leaders. Each speaker will give a 20-minute talk, followed by a panel discussion.
- On the second day of the workshop, participants will take part in a leadership training session.
