Reference Group Meeting on Advanced Connectivity

Advanced Connectivity is the name of a planning project with the goal of creating a Vinnova Excellence Cluster. It is a joint initiative by research centers on connectivity in Stockholm, Lund, Gothenburg, and Linköping. In this meeting, the PIs will meet the international advisory board and reference group members representing Swedish industry and society.

Date and Time: Tuesday 13 January 2025, 08:30-16:00
Where: Digital Futures hub, Osquars Backe 5, floor 2 at KTH main campus
Directions: https://www.digitalfutures.kth.se/contact/how-to-get-here/

Do you want to join? Please contact Sara Willhammar (sara.willhammar@eit.lth.se), Project coordinator, Vinnova Advanced Connectivity. She can also answer other questions related to the event.

Goal: The goal of the workshop is that we will co-create a bold vision and identify potential areas for an excellence cluster in Advanced Connectivity. We will also discuss our strengths and challenges to address, which then can guide us in our prioritization that will occur during the coming months.

Workshop format: After introducing some background and the rules for the day, the workshop will be interactive and focused on discussions in smaller groups, where everyone will contribute with their perspectives, experience, and expertise. There will be post it sessions on site and the corresponding concept for the online participants. Together, we will brainstorm about the bold vision and cluster common areas/topics. Breaks and triggering questions will be included as seen needed. In this workshop we will think freely, focus on opportunities and not limitations, and aim high. The second part is also interactive with discussions in smaller groups where we together will discuss strengths and challenges for the cluster.
