Three KTH researchers have been awarded funding to host Scholars-in-Residence through the Digital Futures mobility programme. The initiative brings leading international researchers to KTH, creating opportunities for new collaborations, knowledge exchange and joint research.
The three hosts will welcome scholars from Germany, Spain and the UK. The funded stays range from four to twelve months, with a total of SEK 750,000 awarded to the hosts to support the scholars’ visits. The funding covers travel, accommodation and research-related activities.

Scholar-in-Residence: Corina Sas, Lancaster University
Residence period: 1 August 2026–31 July 2027 (12 months)
The three visits were recommended for funding by the Digital Futures management group on 15 June 2026, in accordance with the conditions of the call.
By bringing international researchers to KTH, the Scholars-in-Residence programme supports internationalisation and creates opportunities to build lasting research connections across institutions and countries.
