First Keynote Speaker for Digitalize in Stockholm 2024: Elena Fersman

At Digital Futures, we’re excited to announce Elena Fersman as the first keynote speaker for Digitalize in Stockholm 2024. Fersman, Vice President and Head of Global AI Accelerator at Ericsson Research, Ericsson Inc., will present “The Symbiotic Evolution of Telecom and Generative AI.”

Her talk will explore the mutual benefits between the telecom industry and generative AI, discussing how telecom infrastructure supports AI technologies and how generative AI enhances telecom operations through predictive maintenance and intelligent traffic management.

Elena Fersman leads a global team at Ericsson Silicon Valley and is an adjunct professor in Cyber-Physical Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Uppsala University and an MBA from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and has co-authored over 50 patent families.
