Workshop Days on Intelligent Systems for Healthcare

Date and time: 26 – 27 August 2026, 09:00-17:00 CEST each day
Title: Workshop Days on Intelligent Systems for Healthcare

Where: Digital Futures hub, Osquars Backe 5, floor 2 at KTH main campus
Directionshttps://www.digitalfutures.kth.se/contact/how-to-get-here/

Join the Master-level Interactive Workshop Days at KTH exploring the future of unobtrusive sensing, biomedical signal processing, and AI-driven healthcare technologies for rich and healthy living. Led by visiting Digital Futures scholars-in-residence Prof. Leonhardt (RWTH Aachen) and Assoc. Prof. Spicher (Technical University of Denmark) hosted by Assoc. Prof. Seraina Dual and Martin Jacobsson at KTH.

The event offers you a unique learning opportunity to gain insight into cutting-edge research in digital health and intelligent sensing systems.

Registration

  • To participate you need to register. Register by 10 June here.

Important information

  • The two-day program includes inspiring lectures on four distinct topics followed by interactive workshops. You can choose between the topics:
    • unobtrusive measurement technologies,
    • explainable AI,
    • quantitative physiology digital twins, and
    • real-world challenges for healthcare.
  • This event is designed and open for all students at KTH and Stockholm University interested in the digital systems and/or healthcare. We require you to have a basic level of coding experience. The close interaction of visiting academic researchers and local students hopefully sparks new personal connections and exploration of research directions.
  • Limited number of seats are available. You need to register for the event, but attendance is free (free fika/lunch included). Please indicate in the registration form which topics you are interested in attending. You will receive confirmation for the slots assigned to you by end of June 2026.
