Digitalization is changing the way we live, work and interact with each other. With the advent of Industry 4.0, we witnessed the rapid development of digital technologies and the emergence of new business models. Now, with the concept of Industry 5.0, the focus has shifted to the human factor and how digital technologies can help us create more meaningful and sustainable industries.

In this workshop, we aim to bring together academia and industry to explore the possibilities of Industry 5.0. We will discuss current research directions and the challenges and opportunities of digitalization. We will also explore the possibilities of collaboration between academia and industry and how to work together to create a better future for all.

We welcome members and industrial partners of Digital Futures!

AGENDA – preliminary

This workshop is co-organized by Digital Futures Seed Project Industry 4.0 and beyond – towards Industry 5.0 by driving sustainability through digitalization and the KTH Industrial Transformation Platform.
