Abstract: In this talk, we will discuss how artificial intelligence is shaping the landscape of our lives with positive and negative impacts. We will see how it fits in the larger context of BANG – Bits, Atoms, Neurons and Genes that governs our world in the Convergence Revolution. We will discuss examples of how to use AI to enhance Trust in a time when people seem to disbelieve institutions due to the misinformation and disinformation phenomena. Finally, we will delve into the world of sensors to see how AI can improve health and wellbeing. Everything will be illustrated with examples of the research we carry out with collaborators around the world.
