Digital Futures is supporting researcher Elias Sundström (KTH-SCI) with funding to strengthen his application for an ERC Consolidator Grant.
Sundström has been awarded SEK 100,000 from the strategic research area of IT and mobile communications. The funding is provided following confirmation that he has submitted his ERC Consolidator Grant application.
The support is part of a Digital Futures initiative aimed at supporting faculty members in developing competitive applications to the European Research Council (ERC). By providing dedicated support to researchers pursuing ERC funding, Digital Futures aims to encourage and strengthen high-quality applications and contribute to the centre’s ambition to support excellent research.
The funding was recommended by the Digital Futures management group on 15 June 2026 and approved by Digital Futures Director Karl Henrik Johansson on 25 June 2026.
