CASPT/Transit Data 2027 to bring public transport researchers and practitioners to Stockholm: Call for papers – submit by 16 October

From 21–24 June 2027, Stockholm will host the 17th International Conference on Advanced Systems in Public Transport (CASPT2027) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The conference is co-sponsored by Digital Futures, and will be held together with the 12th International Workshop and Symposium on Research and Applications on the Use of Passive Data from Public Transport (TRANSIT DATA).

Under the theme “Intelligent Public Transport Systems for Sustainable and Resilient Cities”, the conference will bring together researchers, practitioners and policymakers to explore how new methods, models, data and technologies can contribute to more sustainable, accessible and resilient public transport systems.

The programme will cover topics ranging from public transport planning, operations and control to data-driven innovation, technology, energy and sustainability. With Stockholm as the host city, participants will also have an opportunity to experience a city recognised for its integrated public transport system and innovative use of digitalisation and data.

The four-day programme will include keynotes, paper sessions, technical tours and networking opportunities.

Call for papers: Submissions opened on 17 August 2026, with a deadline of 16 October 2026.
