Digital Futures launches Innovation Tuesday

As part of Digital Futures’ Innovation Programme, we are launching Innovation Tuesday at Digital Futures hub – a series of interactive mini workshops exploring topics in innovation and entrepreneurship. The workshops will take place from 15:00 to 17:00 on the first Tuesday of every month, starting in September.

The first Innovation Tuesday takes place on 1 September, and registration is now open. Spaces are limited to 50 participants – register HERE to secure your place.

“Innovation rarely happens in isolation. With Innovation Tuesday, we want to create a dynamic environment where researchers, entrepreneurs, and partners can meet and exchange ideas, learn from each other, and explore how research can create impact beyond academia,” says Urban Forssell, Head of AI Strategy and Innovation at Digital Futures and the organizer of the workshops.

Each session will focus on a different aspect of innovation and entrepreneurship, featuring invited guests alongside Digital Futures researchers with hands-on experience in innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurial activities.

“At Digital Futures, we believe that breakthrough research and innovation go hand in hand. Innovation Tuesdays will bring together expertise, experience, and curiosity to help turn ideas into impact,” continues Urban Forssell.

Innovation Tuesday is open to all Digital Futures faculty members, researchers, postdocts, and PhD students, as well as Digital Futures partners and members of our wider network.

Upcoming workshops: 1 September, 6 October, 3 November and 1 December.
