Abstract: This seminar provides insights into the use of machine learning for enhancing the sustainability of the movement of materials and information inside factories. We will discuss the relevance of machine learning for tackling dynamic changes in supply chains. Additionally, the seminar discusses the key component technologies for achieving success when applying machine learning in production logistics. Finally, it presents successful examples from collaborative research projects in the manufacturing industry.
