Machine Learning for e-Science is a workshop in connection with the Data Science MCP of the Swedish e-Science Research Centre.

In recent years, machine learning models have seen a surge of successful applications in various fields of science. One main focus in the Swedish e-Science Research Center (SeRC) activities is machine learning for e-Science, reflected in its dedicated multi-disciplinary project: Data Science MCP. SeRC Data Science MCP spans various subprojects from physics, life science, climate mathematics and computer science. This workshop is intended to present the results of these subprojects within the first round of the MCP (2018-2022) and discuss the path forward. In addition, the workshop hosts invited talks and a panel discussion on the future of ML for e-Science.
