Date and time: 3-4 June, 2024
Title: HiSS: Humanizing the Sustainable Smart City
Where: Tekniska museet, Stockholm

Welcome to this interdisciplinary workshop arranged by the HiSS project at KTH, funded by Digital Futures.

We offer an exciting two-day program in the lovely environment at Tekniska museet on Djurgården in Stockholm. The overriding question that will be addressed is: How do we effectively model and leverage human-social decisions/choices on individual, societal, and institutional levels to support the development and design of smart cities?

The main goal is to deepen our understanding of the interactions between cyber-physical systems and humans in the context of smart cities and to develop computational models with the predictive power of these interactions, with the ambition to improve the well-being of humans in the smart city in a sustainable way. In the workshop, experts across different disciplines, ranging from control theory to neuroscience, from neuroeconomics to social sciences, are brought together to address these challenges.

The number of attendees is limited, so register today to secure a spot. Registration is binding but free of charge and includes lunches, a reception dinner, and a visit to the museum.
