EIT Urban Mobility is a Knowledge and Innovation Community of the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology), an EU body created by the European Union to strengthen Europe’s ability to find innovative solutions to pressing global challenges. EIT Urban Mobility is dedicated to solving the mobility challenges our cities face today. Indeed, the world’s cities are undergoing a massive transformation in how they function and how the people and goods revolve around the globe.

The EIT Urban Mobility Master School prepares students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders in urban mobility. It offers two wide-ranging master’s programmes in partnership with 8 European universities, including KTH. The programmes – Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions & Smart Mobility Data Science and Analytics – are double-degree programmes and include extensive training in innovation and entrepreneurship. The students graduate with an EIT-labelled double master’s degree from two renowned European universities.

On Thursday, 12 October, all new students travel to Stockholm to attend a global kick-off event, and it happens at the Digital Futures hub! The kick-off is full of mobility challenges and focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship by hosting panels, networking and pitching sessions, and above all, multiple socializing activities for the new students.

Through its numerous partners across Europe, the Master School offers excellent exposure to a wide range of career opportunities within the public and private sectors, and it equips its students with the skills and knowledge to start their businesses or conduct rigorous research.
