Collaborative research projects

Digital Futures perform world-class research at the forefront of the new wave of powerful digital technologies: feeding off the massive data provided by people, machines and processes; creating novel ways of communicating and collaborating with people; learning on their own and collectively; automating existing and creating new autonomous processes; and distributing computation and intelligence across devices and systems.

A broad range of disciplines are represented e.g computer science, robotics, artificial intelligence, law, geo information technology, energy, urban and regional studies, psychology, human computer interaction and design, medical technology, visualization, biotechnology, speech technology, systems theory and machine learning. Expertise and perspectives from the private and public sector are provided in collaborations and knowledge exchange with external partners and other universities.

These are 4-year projects that target cutting-edge research in the area of Digital Transformation within the frame of the Digital Futures Research matrix and are based on an interdisciplinary approach.
