Biography: Professor Toshihiko Yamasaki received a PhD from The University of Tokyo. He is a Professor at the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo. He was a JSPS Fellow for Research Abroad and a visiting scientist at Cornell University from 2011 to 2013. His research interests are computer vision, multimedia, pattern recognition, and machine learning. He is a pioneer of attractiveness computing.
